• Craft personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure accurate, legal documentation of daily care.
• Lead each shift, organising and guiding the team.
• Oversee shift handovers to maintain continuity of care.
• Perform routine observations and manage specific health needs.
• Safely administer medications following MAR sheets and protocols.
• Build trusting relationships with residents, families and peers.
• Support residents in daily activities to promote independence.
• Respond to feedback and prioritise resident well‑being.
• Uphold dignity and individual preferences of residents.
• Facilitate social interactions and activities for engagement.
• Maintain a safe environment for all.
• Advocate for balanced nutrition and hydration.
• Act swiftly in emergencies using on‑call systems and reflective practice.

• You’re a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
• Care‑home experience is a plus, but passion for care is essential.
• Comfortable connecting with residents, families and colleagues with warmth, understanding and a calm, patient demeanour.
• Communication is your strength – clarity, empathy and respect in all interactions.
