Finishing Manager

Overview

A Finishing Manager is required for a residential development in Gravesend, focusing specifically on balcony finishing packages. This role involves overseeing all balcony-related quality, sequencing, and final presentation, ensuring works are delivered to a high standard and within programme.

• Manage all balcony finishing works including decking, balustrades, soffits, trims, waterproofing and final details
• Coordinate and supervise specialist subcontractors
• Ensure all balcony works meet quality benchmarks and project specifications
• Produce snagging lists and manage de-snagging to completion
• Monitor progress, report daily/weekly updates, and support programme delivery
  
  Identify defects early and drive solutions with subcontractors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures, including permits and RAMS reviews
• Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, and the wider project team
• Manage materials, delivery schedules and logistics relating to balcony access
• Support overall project completion targets

• Previous experience as a Finishing Manager, ideally with balcony or external envelope experience
• Strong understanding of external finishing trades and high-quality standards
• Excellent eye for detail and ability to manage multiple units simultaneously
• Confident in snagging tools (Site Audit Pro, SnagR, Field View, or similar)
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, First Aid preferred

• Can start immediately and commit for the full 5-month duration
