Trainee Internal Sales Executive

Position:
Trainee Internal Technical Sales Executive
Salary: £23,400 pa to £30,000 pa + bonus
Bonus: 6% of salary paid twice a year – company PR non contractual bonus

Gravesend

Working hours:

Full time office based, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Following successful probation and training - one in six Saturday mornings 8.30 to 12pm currently 1 in 8 as it is dependant of staff levels
Benefits: 20 days plus bank holidays
After 1 full holiday year, gain 1 extra day each year to a max of 25 days

Our client is seeking a Trainee Internal Technical Sales Executive. The role will suit candidates with an interest in industrial engineering, sales and customer service. Being a technical trainee role, the ideal candidate will be someone who understands the principles of engineering and is interested in rotating equipment, how it works and what it takes to maintain.
You will have the desire to solve problems with a level of business acumen that assists in the sales and services provided. Internal and external training will be provided for someone who shows initiative.
Trainee Internal Technical Sales Executive - To work alongside and learn from Technical Services
 
* Learn about the company product offering, developments in technology and industry trends
 
* Support with hands on, identification of products and services.
 
* Support with preparing quotes, proposals and presentations to customers.
 
* Develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers
 
* Assisting the External Sales teams with site visits and supporting the Internal sales office on a daily basis.
Requirements for the role
 
* Must have an interest in engineering/technical sales
 
* An engineering qualification would be advantageous
 
* Excellent I.T skills
 
* Computer Literate including Microsoft Office
 
* Willingness to learn and be office based
