Warehouse Operative; Temporary

Position: Warehouse Operative (Temporary)
Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's distribution centre, which deals with Ikea Furniture Products.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Dartford.

The rate of pay is:
- Mornings £12.21 per hour, overtime £15.87 per hour
- Afternoons £12.48 per hour, overtime £16.22 per hour

This is a full-time role working, 5 days out of 7 on a seven-week rolling rota (including weekends), the hours of work are:

- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm

All staff are taken on a perm contract after 12 weeks if suitable!

Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties include:

- Maintain the highest quality standards by handling all stock carefully to ensure it reaches our customers in perfect condition.
- Accurately and efficiently pick stock.
- Operate Mechanical Equipment (LLOP).
- Perform various tasks to support operational efficiency, including maintaining general housekeeping and hygiene standards within the warehouse and site.
- Being capable of reading and understanding instructions clearly.

Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have a good level of physical fitness, as this role involves heavy lifting of items weighing up to 25kg. Candidates should be comfortable with the physical demands of the job and able to handle these tasks efficiently.

Applicants will be reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player with a flexible approach to work. You will show the necessary hand, eye, and foot coordination for the safe and effective use of mechanical handling equipment.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
