A dynamic, forward-thinking and growing main contractor with a turnover of circa £200m have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, working on a project in Grays, Essex.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 + package

The company have been around for approximately 15 years and have continuously grown from strength to strength. They are privately owned and managed by a dynamic team with extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry.

They specialise in the delivery of new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects across a range of sectors including industrial, retail, commercial and infrastructure, between £5m to £30m in value. They offer their key clients services nationwide; they have some excellent lasting relationships and win a lot of repeat business as a result.

They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a £15m project in Grays that comprises a 400,000 sq. ft. new build industrial warehouse and offices. The project will last for approximately 10 months and the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

• Ideally Degree qualified or other relative construction qualification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working for a reputable main contractor
• Ideally have experience on new build steel frame projects
• Career focused and driven to succeed
• Good commercial awareness
• Full UK drivers’ license
