A prestigious family-owned company based in Cannock is looking for a Business Development Executive to join its well-established team.

This exciting role is office based and would suit candidates with a background in packaging or FMCG background.

Key Responsibilities

* Research prospect companies to create warm leads

* Book meetings with decision makers using Telemarketing, emails, social media etc

* Attend initial appointments where necessary

* Attend Trade shows and exhibitions and follow up0 generated leads

* Attend regional drop-ins and networking events

* Execute direct marketing campaigns to decision makers

* Maintain the database and prospect pipeline to achieve sales targets

Experience required

* Previous experience in a similar sales role

* Experience of the packaging for FMCG sector would be desirable

* Ability to deal with people professionally at all levels via telephone, face to face and email

* Excellent IT skills

* Ability to work as a team and an individual

* Target driven
