Social Worker, Mental Health

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join the Mental Health Team within Inverclyde, (UK), offering an attractive rate of £29 hourly for a 3‑month assignment. This full‑time position, based at Crown House, King Street, Greenock, provides an engaging and dynamic work environment where you can make a real impact in the community. As a Social Worker in this role, you will predominantly be office‑based with some flexibility for homeworking at the discretion of the manager.

We value candidates with at least one year of experience working with adults in a mental health setting, along with relevant Adult Protection training. A driver’s licence is essential for home visits.

What you will do:

• Provide support and intervention to adults experiencing mental health challenges, ensuring effective and empathetic care.
• Carry out home visits to assess the needs and well‑being of service users.
