Clark Wood is excited to be working with a well-established independent accountancy firm in Grimsby, who are looking for a proactive Accounts Semi‑Senior or Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, develop your skills, and progress within a supportive environment.

• Prepare and assist with statutory accounts for a variety of clients, including SMEs and owner‑managed businesses.
• Support VAT returns, bookkeeping, and other compliance work.
• Assist in audit assignments, working alongside senior team members.
• Develop technical knowledge and contribute to process improvements.
• Build strong client relationships through accurate, timely, and professional service.

• Part‑qualified or recently qualified ACCA / ACA / AAT, or working towards these.
• Experience in accounts preparation, bookkeeping, and basic audit support.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with a proactive, client‑focused approach.
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing firm.

• Competitive salary of £25,000 – £32,000 depending on experience.
