Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – 6pm to 6am

Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

• Complete daily and periodic cleans to the required standard based on the cleaning schedule in place.
• Carry out general low‑risk hygiene tasks including washing equipment, walls, floor & overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning & using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
• Execute any reasonable tasks given by the Management Team.
• Work safely as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene are always maintained across all areas of the site.
• Liaise closely with the Hygiene Supervisor.
• Handle chemicals, label containers and lock them at all times.
• Follow all hygiene, food safety, quality, H&S procedures and company terms & conditions; complete related documents and records.
• Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation.
• Handle chemicals as per COSHH training and regulations.
• Comply with the Hygiene Cleaning Schedule.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work night shifts based on 4 on 4 off rota.
• Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner desirable but not compulsory, as full training will be provided.
• Capability to dismantle equipment and machinery, handle and use chemicals – subject to passing COSHH training.
• IPAF training desirable but not essential.
