The Requirements To Fill This Position Are As Below

• To adhere to all safety requirements incl. safety checks of tools and equipment
• To create precision-engineered parts from blank metal or plastic/composite materials using a variety of techniques including:
• Prepare and use horizontal and vertical boring machines; (desirable)
• Prepare and use lathes for turning operation
• Prepare and use milling machines
• Prepare and use grinding machines
• Ensure products are manufactured to tolerances required on technical drawings
• Apply screw-cutting techniques
• Interpret drawings
• Produce jobs within allocated timescales.
• Actively promote the Core Values within all work-based activities
• Must have NVQ3 in Machining, ONC Engineering or equivalent.
• Highly experienced in use of Horizontal/Vertical Borers/Centre Lathes
