Dispatch Shift Supervisor / Team Leader

Permanent Salary: £14.00 per hour

Shifts:

Weekly rotation 6:00am - 2:00pm 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Role Overview We are recruiting permanent Dispatch Shift Supervisors / Team Leaders for one of our clients in Grimsby. This is a hands-on role combining dispatch supervision, forklift operation, administration, and physical warehouse work. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are prepared, loaded, and dispatched accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities Preparing pallets for dispatch Allocating and booking consignments onto the shipping network Loading and unloading vehicles Strapping, securing, and checking pallets Recording dispatch data accurately (dates, quantities, destinations) Completing dispatch paperwork and system administration Supervising and supporting the dispatch team during the shift Assisting with production work during quieter periods Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times Requirements Valid FLT Counterbalance (B) licence - essential Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or team leader/supervisory role Comfortable with physical work, including manual handling Strong organisational and communication skills Confident with basic admin and record-keeping Reliable, flexible, and able to work rotating shifts What's on Offer Permanent employment £14.00 per hour Weekly rotating shifts Hands on supervisory role with responsibility If you are interested and would like some more information please call the office on
