Seamstress​/Tailor

Heels 'n' Soles are looking for a talented and dependable Seamstress / Tailor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in alterations, repairs, and the operation of sewing equipment. This role requires attention to detail, strong sewing skills, and the ability to provide high-quality workmanship while meeting deadlines.

• Perform clothing alterations, adjustments, and repairs.
• Take accurate measurements and fit garments according to customer specifications.
• Hem, shorten, lengthen, taper, and resize garments.
• Replace zippers, buttons, snaps, and other garment components.
• Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines, sergers, and pressing equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed work.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding their alteration needs.
• Complete projects within established timelines while maintaining quality standards.
• Previous experience as a seamstress, tailor, alterations specialist, or sewing machine operator.
• Knowledge sewing techniques.
• Ability to operate various sewing and pressing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
