About the Position:
RWDI is seeking a full-time skilled Mechanical Commissioning Consultant to join our Commissioning team in either our Guelph or Toronto office.
As a Commissioning Consultant you will:
Participate in all phases of Commissioning processPerform building commissioning for both new and existing buildingsVisit job sites to verify building system installations meet design requirements and intentProvide troubleshooting and diagnostic support on various building systemsParticipate in the investigation phase of an existing building commissioning processPerform energy usage analysisMake energy efficiency recommendations and suggestions for improvementsPrepare commissioning and energy audit reportsCommunicate with project team members for scheduling, document collection and project status purposesSupport the implementation of business development and delivery strategies to help grow the commissioning and energy services linesTrack industry developments and innovations to ensure RWDI’ ability to deliver relevant services and innovative deliverablesWe welcome your application if you have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringLicensed P.Eng or EIT in Mechanical Discipline a plus2+ years of commissioning experienceKnowledge of HVAC&R, building codes and standards, LEED, and ASHRAECXA, AABC, ACG certification a plusStrong written and oral communication skillsHigh competency in technical writing, ability to develop and deliver programs and data collection systemsExcellent Computer Skills (MS office package minimum)In addition, the following skills and experience will be seen as an asset:
Work independently with minimal directionHandle pressure well with multiple demands and projects
