About the Position:
RWDI’s Guelph office is seeking an individual to join its Facilities team as a Facilities Coordinator.
The role includes but is not limited to:
Manage facilities requests through the ticketing system and ensure timely resolutionCoordinate building maintenance and repairs, including custodial services, deliveries, security systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, vehicles, and equipmentOversee acquisition and distribution of office and breakroom supplies.Perform basic maintenance and repairs (e.g., light bulb changes, snow/ice clearing, cable tray installations, drain unclogging)Assist with office moves, workspace set-ups, and personnel relocations.Maintain facility databases, including vendor contacts, lease details, and related recordsConduct facility safety and security inspections (e.g., fire systems, HVAC, seasonal maintenance) and follow up on findingsPartner with IT to coordinate workstation moves, data cabling, and AV equipment setupManage shipping, receiving, and delivery logisticsWelcome visitors and provide staff notifications as neededOperate forklift for facility and warehouse needsWe are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, with some related work experienceValid driver’s licensePrevious facility maintenance, shipping/receiving, and/or warehouse experience in a dynamic work environmentExperience in administrative tasks and working with the Microsoft Office SuiteHands-on/mechanical aptitude and general “handy” skillsAbility to quickly learn and adapt to new softwareStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer serviceEffective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitaskAssets:
Training in forklift operation, working at heights, ladder safety, fall arrest, and/or lift truck operationIf you possess 80% of the listed qualifications, please apply, as you may have additional skills that would align well with this role.
