Wages: $18.00/hr

Shift timings:
Varies (Days, Afternoons, Nights and Weekends). Preference for those who can work different types of shifts.

• De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons. Deny entry to anyone without authorization.
• Assist with coverages at various sites to enhance security at strategic locations.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• G or G2 class driver’s license is required. Vehicle is required to travel to the sites.
• 1 year Security Experience.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Effective communication skills.
