Location: EloraPosition Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Security, this position is responsible for the safety and protection of team members, guests, the facility (both internal and external) and the company's assets while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
Monitors, documents and prepares statements and/or reports on violations, unsafe conditions, potential hazards, suspicious persons or activitiesEnforces restricted access by unauthorized personsObserves transactions, pulls, fills, transfers, etc.Escorts cash/cash equivalentsTags and reports found property; transfers items to Lost and FoundConducts regular patrols of the facility interior and exterior as directedEscorts guests and team members as directedPerforms identification checksRefers disputes to the Supervisor, SecurityPerforms crowd control as directedCommunicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsBuilds strong working relationships with guests and team membersEnsures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or directedEducation and Qualifications
