Are you an experienced Site Foreman looking to lead an exciting infrastructure project in Guildford? Join, a dynamic civil engineering sub-contractor specializing in roadworks, groundworks, earthworks, and mixed-use development projects, residential, commercial and aviation projects.

About the Role

As Site Foreman, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-profile infrastructure project involving the infrastructure of a large industrial project which will consist of green and brown sites. The work which you will be carrying out is the infrastructure to the site which consists of roads, road realignments, roundabouts and other essential civil works for a mixed-use development project.

The work falls under 278 highway work. Your leadership will ensure the project runs smoothly, safely and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise site activities, ensuring all work is completed on schedule and to specification.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Lead a team of operatives, provide clear direction to achieve project goals, monitor and report on progress, resolving any on-site issues promptly.
  • Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Foreman in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of roadworks, realignment works and roundabout construction.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills; in‑depth understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and plans.
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. SMSTS, SSSTS and NRSWA street works) are highly desirable.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
