We are working closely with a technical service provider who is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to join their team supporting a major healthcare contract in Surrey. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong technical capability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining safe, reliable electrical systems within a critical clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a wide range of electrical systems within healthcare facilities

Ensure compliance with HTM, statutory regulations, and best-practice safety standards

Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions with minimal disruption to clinical operations

Support project works, system upgrades, and equipment installations

Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation

Work collaboratively with estates and facilities teams to maintain first-class service levels

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

18th Edition wiring regulations

Experience working in healthcare, hospitals, or other complex facilities (preferred)

Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory standards

Excellent communication and customer-focused approach

Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
