Job Overview

Reception staff provide administrative support to Chilworth Day Unit from 8.00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday including bank holidays. The role of Receptionist works in partnership with the Nursing Team ensuring a comprehensive administrative support and reception function. A key element of the Reception role is to maintain accuracy and completeness of Aria, ensuring patients appointments are scheduled correctly.

We are recruiting for a ward receptionist to join our excellent chemotherapy (SACT) Day unit. This is busy but very friendly unit treating up to 130 patients a day with Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy and supportive Cancer treatments within our regional Cancer Centre.

We are looking for hard working, enthusiastic people with excellent IT and communication skills to join our busy team. Previous experience would be beneficial.

Royal Surrey Cancer Centre is the specialist outpatient cancer unit based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. Established in 1996 and serving a population of approximately 1.2 million across Surrey and West Sussex, it is highly regarded for the excellent care it provides and for its work with the University of Surrey and major pharmaceutical companies in conducting vital research to support the development of new cancer treatments.
