Ship It is an AI-powered product discovery platform built for makers and indiehackers. We’re creating a fairer alternative to Product Hunt, where every launch gets equal visibility without algorithm games. We’re growing fast and need someone who can help us dominate organic search.

We’re looking for an SEO Specialist to own our organic growth strategy. You’ll work directly with the founders to increase our visibility, drive traffic, and help makers discover Ship It when searching for ways to launch their products.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy (technical, on‑page, off‑page)
• Conduct keyword research to identify high‑intent opportunities in the startup/maker space
• Optimize existing pages and create content briefs for new SEO‑driven content
• Build high‑quality backlinks through outreach, partnerships, and creative campaigns
• Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions—report on what's working
• Collaborate with our dev team on technical SEO improvements
• Stay ahead of algorithm changes and industry trends

• 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience (agency or in‑house)
• Proven track record of ranking pages and growing organic traffic
• Strong understanding of technical SEO (Core Web Vitals, schema markup, crawlability)
• Experience with tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar
• Self‑starter who can work independently
