Our client, a respected and forward-thinking main contractor, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing team in Surrey. With a strong project pipeline across the region, this is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional looking to take ownership of multiple schemes and play a key role in the business’s continued success.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee several projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage site teams, maintain client relationships, and drive commercial and operational performance across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage project teams across multiple sites
* Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety, and quality standards
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and contract administration
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project and site managers
* Report regularly on project progress, risks, and opportunities
About You
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within a main contracting environment
* Strong knowledge of construction processes and contract management
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to delivering excellence
