Due to continued growth Andertons Music Co are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse and Inventory Manager to lead and develop our overflow warehouse operation, driving operational efficiency, accuracy, and optimisation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse manager to be able to be involved in scaling up our warehouse operation. You will oversee our bulk storage warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, dispatch, and accurate inventory management.
This role is critical for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, optimal stock levels, and stock integrity when transferring inventory between sites to support sales and operational goals. Responsibilities also include managing stock replenishment across multiple warehouses.
Key duties will involve coordinating the planning and unloading of inbound containers, as well as handling palletized and loose deliveries on a daily basis. You will report directly to the Head of Logistics and Operations and provide additional support to the Warehouse Manager who oversees the day-to-day operations of our nearby fulfilment centre.

Candidate Profile:
Required:- Proven experience in warehouse management within an e-commerce or retail environment, with a strong understanding of B2C order fulfilment processes and inventory management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a track record of managing competing priorities effectively.
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology.
- A hands‑on approach, with the ability to lead by example and drive operational excellence.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with a 7‑day trading schedule.
- Willingness to muck in with the teams when needed to get the job done, particularly during our peak trading months (Nov‑Jan).
- Knowledge of Musical Products & Equipment.
- Experience in managing multi‑shift operations, including weekends.
- Forklift Truck License (Counterbalance and Pivot‑Steer) or willingness to gain certification.
- Experience with performance metrics and reporting tools.
- A management qualification (e.g., ILM or equivalent) would be beneficial.
- Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH).
