Early (06:00–14:00) & Late (12:00–20:00)

We’re on the lookout for a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Keogh Barracks. If you thrive in high-volume kitchens, love leading a team, and want to grow your career with a global hospitality leader—this could be your next move.

You’ll be stepping up when the Head Chef is away, helping to produce up to 1,000 meals per shift, and keeping everything running smoothly. Organisation, calm under pressure, and a passion for great food are key.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Lead the kitchen team during shifts when the Head Chef is off duty
  • Help produce up to 1,000 meals per service – staying cool, calm, and collected
  • Allocate tasks and support your team to keep service running like clockwork
  • Follow recipe sheets and ensure allergen info is up to date
  • Manage food production levels to reduce waste
  • Place orders, receive deliveries, and follow FIFO stock rotation
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including deep cleans.
What you'll bring:
  • You’ve lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work
  • You’re able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
  • You hold a relevant culinary qualification and have at least 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP
  • You’re organised, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A trade test will be part of the interview process
