Location: Guildford, Surrey

Salary/Benefits: £35k - £50k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a privately‑owned Water Treatment specialist with imminent plans for revenue growth. They are seeking a hands‑on and proactive Water Treatment Account / Sales Manager who can implement successful sales strategies and support continued company success. Applicants must demonstrate strong technical knowledge and have a proven track record of winning new business within Water Treatment, Cooling Tower, Steam Boilers and Closed System contracts.

This offers an opportunity for someone ambitious to mould and develop an up‑and‑coming outfit within the industry. Salaries are competitive and come alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Successful track record as a Water Treatment Account / Sales Manager.
  • Strong sales experience and knowledge.
  • Knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 compliance standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Professional manner.
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
  • Able to travel in line with company needs.
The Role
  • Use existing industry experience to support overall growth of a medium‑sized Water Treatment outfit.
  • Identify new client leads and follow up to secure new business.
  • Highlight gaps in the business to expand.
  • Use various sales techniques to on‑board and find new clients.
  • Monitor project progress to guarantee delivery.
  • Ensure clients are receiving a high level of service.
  • Meet with prospective clients to establish their requirements.
  • Devising thorough growth plans and forecasting for the future.
  • Meet with members of management and directors to discuss progress.
  • Upsell services to existing clients.
  • Produce detailed tenders and quotations for clients.
  • Be a key point of contact for engineers and clients.
