AboutThe Role

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide exceptional customer service, welcoming and guiding court users.
- Monitor premises and visitors via CCTV, x‑ray machines and hand‑held metal detectors, and conduct bag searches on arrival.
- Patrol and secure access to buildings and satellite buildings, maintaining contact with the control room via hand‑held radios.
- Respond to panic alarm buttons in Judges’ rooms, courts and offices.
- Respond to any security issues within the complex and record and report details of incidents.
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance will be completed for the successful candidate.
- Valid SIA Licence and relevant security related experience.
- Strong people and customer service skills.
- Good diligence and high standard of work.
- Effective communication skills.
Attendance Allowance of £1 per hour can be earned on contracted hours, subject to meeting certain attendance‑related criteria.
