A growing consulting firm in Guildford is hiring a Software Developer to build full-stack software products deployed directly into client environments. You'll join a high-performing engineering and data science team solving complex problems across aviation, defence, and infrastructure - using modern cloud and optimisation technologies.

This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work on meaningful real-world systems alongside strong senior peers.

The role

You will:

• Build high-quality software products end-to-end
• Work across Java + modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred)
• Contribute to cloud-based deployments (Terraform + Azure)
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and product specialists
• Operate independently within a supportive senior team

What we're looking for

• Strong Java + Angular (or React/Vue)
• Full-stack experience across backend + frontend
• Cloud exposure (Terraform + Azure ideal, AWS fine)
• End-to-end software development lifecycle experience
• Ability to work independently and own technical decisions
• 5+ years professional experience

Nice to have:

• Defence or aviation exposure
• Mentoring experience
• Spring Boot, React, Vue

Important:To be eligible for this role, you must be able to obtain UK Security Clearance. This typically requires British nationality and the absence of certain international ties. Sponsorship is not available.
