Location: Guildford

Salary: £22,500 - £24,000 per annum FTE, plus performance incentives

Guildways is looking for an individual with high attention to detail to assist in recovering monies owed to its clients. The company offers social events, a benefits package, and a quarterly bonus scheme.

About The Role: The primary purpose is to ensure performance standards and company objectives are met to enhance revenues through negotiation skills. The role reports to the Department Manager in a dynamic environment with growth potential.

Employment Requirements: No sponsorship offered; candidates must have legal right to live and work in the UK. Office‑based role; candidates must reside within commuting distance from Guildford.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve collection targets set.
  • Manage and understand monthly collector targets in collaboration with team leader.
  • Assist in achieving a mandate strategy.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Ensure monthly workload targets are met.
  • Consistently review performance to meet set objectives.
  • Maintain acceptable work ethics within the assigned mandate.
  • Provide feedback to clients as required.
  • Investigate client/debtor complaints in real time, resolving promptly or escalating to the Department Manager as appropriate.
  • Escalate complex queries/complaints to the Department Manager.
About You

Knowledge: Preferential understanding of financial recovery CRM systems; good knowledge of collection processes and policies.

Skills: Computer literacy (Microsoft Office), call handling, team player, excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, sense of urgency, strong customer service, work under pressure, adaptability, active listening, emotional intelligence, problem solving, attention to detail, understanding of technology.

Experience: Call centre experience an advantage.

Qualifications: GCSE or Post GCSE qualification highly desirable.
