Web Content & Digital Experience Manager

Role Overview
IILM University is looking for a Web Content &;
Digital Experience Manager to own and
govern the university’s website content and user experience across multiple CMS platforms.
This role is responsible for ensuring the website always reflects accurate, current,
compliant, and well-structured information, while delivering a seamless user experience and
strong organic discoverability (SEO/GEO).
This is a governance and ownership role, not a development or design position.
Key Responsibilities
Website Content Ownership
Own and manage all live website content across CMS platforms (Laravel and
Word Press)
Ensure zero outdated or contradictory information across academic, admissions,
faculty, and policy pages
Maintain a structured content inventory and periodic review tracker
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the single point of contact for website content updates with Deans, Program
Heads, Admissions, Placements, International Office, and other departments
Collect, validate, and publish approved content updates within defined SLAs
Escalate delays or non-compliance to senior management
Information Architecture &;
User Experience
Continuously improve website navigation, page hierarchy, and internal linking
Ensure meaningful interconnection between programs, admissions, scholarships,
placements, and outcomes
Eliminate orphan, duplicate, or redundant pages to improve user journeys
SEO &; GEO Management
Own on-page SEO including titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking
Ensure campus and location-based content is optimised for geographic search intent
Monitor Google Search Console for indexing, crawl, and coverage issues and
coordinate fixes with IT or vendors
Compliance &;
Risk Management
Ensure statutory disclosures, admission rules, refund policies, and privacy policies
are accurate and up to date
Maintain and execute periodic compliance checklists
Proactively flag content-related risks to management
What This Role Does Not Include
Website development or coding
Server, hosting, or security management
Plugin or CMS architecture decisions
Paid media or performance marketing
Graphic design or video production
Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of experience in website management, content governance, or digital
experience roles
Hands-on experience working with CMS platforms (Word Press mandatory; Laravel
familiarity preferred)
Strong written English and content quality control skills
Working knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Search Console
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and enforce content governance
Preferred Background
Experience in higher education, EdTech, or large content-driven websites
Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven content environments

Granted authority to approve, reject, or escalate website content updates
