About the role:
As the Product Analyst Lead, you will move beyond simple data reporting to become a core strategic driver for the company. You will lead a team of three analysts and act as a primary thought partner to Product Managers and Leadership. Your goal is to translate massive amounts of user data into a narrative that shapes the product roadmap, optimizes the creator journey, and ensures sustainable growth.
This is a leadership position designed for someone who possesses both technical rigor and high product intuition.
Responsibilities:
Define and own the product metrics framework (activation, engagement, retention, monetization, creator success, etc.) and ensure consistency across teams.
Lead and mentor the product analytics team (currently 3 analysts) – build career paths, set best practices, and elevate the craft of analytics .
Partner with Product Managers and Leadership to define hypotheses, design experiments, and synthesize insights into strategic recommendations.
Standardize experimentation practices: A/B test design, statistical validity, and company-wide learnings.
Scale self-serve analytics: Work with Data Engineering to improve tracking, event logging, and dashboarding, reducing repetitive ad-hoc analysis.
Drive cross-POD insights: Connect dots across multiple squads to highlight trade-offs, uncover hidden patterns, and provide a unified view of product health.
Be a thought partner to leadership: Contribute to OKR setting, board decks, and investor discussions with a data-driven narrative of our product trajectory.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or related roles in consumer tech
Strong hands-on ability in SQL, data visualization, and product event instrumentation.
Deep knowledge of experimentation and statistical methods (A/B testing, cohort analysis, causal inference).
Proven ability to mentor analysts and establish scalable processes for analytics.
Strong product intuition – able to challenge PMs and leaders with data-informed hypotheses and insights.
Excellent communication skills – able to tell compelling stories with data for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience in content, social, or commerce startups.
