Role Overview :
We are looking for a high-energy, founder-facing Sales Head to lead VMock's India sales function. This is a hands-on role combining strategic leadership with strong individual contributor responsibility, ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can define GTM strategies, scale revenue, build a high-performing team, and directly interact with clients to close deals.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and drive India revenue growth and overall sales performance.
Build and execute the Go-to-Market strategy for VMock's SaaS offerings in India.
Generate leads, close deals, and expand client relationships through renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities.
Build, hire, and mentor a high-performing sales team from scratch.
Collaborate directly with the Founder to align on growth strategy, priorities, and operational execution.
Identify new business opportunities across EdTech, HRTech, and other B2B SaaS domains.
Represent VMock at industry events, university engagements, and client meetings.
Establish scalable sales processes, reporting, and KPIs suitable for a growing startup.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Education:

Graduation from Top - Tier Institutes

Experience:

7+ years of sales leadership or growth experience in SaaS, EdTech, HRTech, or related B2B sectors.
Proven track record in building GTM strategies, scaling revenue, and managing client relationships.
Experience selling to educational institutions is a plus, but strong B2B SaaS/growth experience is equally valued.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a startup culture with minimal supervision.
Strong leadership potential to hire, coach, and grow a sales team from scratch.
