Zonal Manager - North East

Role Overview

As Zonal Manager – North East, you will own the business performance and in-store execution of 50+ stores across the region. You will drive sales growth, store productivity, and frontline excellence while building a strong leadership bench. This is a hands-on role requiring deep store engagement, people leadership, and disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Store Performance Ownership

- Drive sales growth, conversion, ticket size, and store profitability across the zone.
- Own key store KPIs and ensure consistent performance across mature and new stores.
- Identify underperforming stores and execute clear turnaround plans.

2. Team Leadership & Frontline Excellence

- Lead, coach, and develop Area Managers, Store Managers, and in-store teams.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance on the shop floor.
- Ensure strong hiring, training, and succession planning for critical store roles.

3. In-Store Customer Experience & NPS

- Own the end-to-end in-store customer journey and drive high NPS and repeat visits.
- Ensure consistent service quality, grooming, hygiene, and selling standards across stores.
- Use customer feedback and store audits to continuously improve experience and conversion.

4. Store Operations & Inventory Discipline

- Ensure flawless store operations with strong adherence to SOPs and audit standards.
- Drive tight inventory management, minimizing pilferage, returns, and stock ageing.
- Optimize staffing and scheduling to maximize sales productivity per store and per employee.

5. New Store Launches & Market Expansion

- Support and execute new store openings in coordination.
- Ensure stores achieve faster ramp-up and early productivity benchmarks.
- Bring local market insights to strengthen store location, staffing, and assortment decisions.

6. Performance Tracking & Actionable Insights

- Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards across the zone.
- Analyze gaps and implement quick, data-backed corrective actions.
- Share on-ground insights and best practices with the Circle leadership team.
