- Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years - Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years - or equivalent experience Work setting
- General office Tasks
- Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered
- Generate building plans and detailed drawings to be used by contractors and tradespersons
- Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects
- Prepare documents showing both the structural needs and the materials required for construction
- Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs and construction schedules
- Perform architectural research
- Supervision of technologists, technicians and other architects Supervision
- 1 to 2 people Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Membership in the Provincial Association of Architects Computer and technology knowledge
- MS Office
- MS Project
- AutoCAD
- Autodesk REVIT Type of related experience
