Service Estimator

Our client, a leader in mechanical services, is seeking a Service Estimator to join their team. As a Service Estimator, you will be part of the Service Department supporting the Customer Solutions Managers and Business teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical services based on customer needs and site conditions.
• Interpret customer requirements and support site visits to verify existing conditions and gather necessary details.
• Engage with customers during estimate discussions and follow up on proposals to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
• Optimize equipment selection, installation methods, and lifecycle value to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with operations and service teams to validate pricing and ensure constructability.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical service, retrofit, or estimating.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and estimating tools such as Service Titan or related software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and site conditions accurately.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
