The role
Our digital strategy team out of Halifax is seeking a Consultant, Marketing Technology. The right individual will help plan and deliver digital communications initiatives that are measurable, connected, and performance driven. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional who thrives on collaboration and loves using digital tools to solve complex marketing challenges. The role brings together creative content, media, and research expertise to deliver integrated, data-informed solutions that help clients connect with their audiences.
As a Consultant, Marketing Technology, you’ll be hands-on with cross-channel platforms, analytics tools, and emerging technologies – working closely with colleagues in marketing, web, research, and media strategy to turn insights into action. You’ll contribute meaningfully to client work while being supported by a team that’s smart, curious, and passionate about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in digital marketing.
Key responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies with a focus on measurement, discoverability and reportingManage dashboards, tagging, tracking, and performance reporting for client campaignsConduct SEO audits and keyword research to support content development and channel strategyAnalyze landing page performance to identify drop-off points and recommend adjustments to improve user flow and lead captureCollaborate with marketing, web, and media teams to ensure campaigns are measurable from the startAssist with CRM strategy and audience segmentation to improve targeting and personalizationPilot new tools and recommend process improvements to enhance digital marketing workflowsSupport proposal writing, audits, and opportunity scoping with insights on platform capabilities and measurement strategyQualifications
4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, or a related field (agency experience is an asset)Hands-on experience with several of the following:
Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Tag Manager, Bing Webmaster Tools;
Looker studio, Power BI; SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screening Frog); CRO tools; CRM and marketing automation platforms (Hub Spot, Salesforce, Mailchimp)Experience with UTM structures, campaign tagging and performance reportingAbility to interpret data, identify trends, and make actionable recommendationsStrong communication skills to simplify technical concepts for non-technical teamsDesire to experiment with and share knowledge on emerging marketing technologies (e.g., AI search, workflow automation)Abilities
Work collaboratively within an integrated, cross-functional team environmentMaintain strong attention to detail and consistently deliver high-quality, accurate workApply analytical and strategic thinking to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutionsPrioritize tasks effectively and perform well under tight deadlinesAdapt quality to evolving tools, platforms, and processes in a fast-changing digital landscapeWhat we offer
