We are currently seeking a Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join our team in Halifax, NS
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join our growing software development team. We are looking for a candidate who is not only passionate about creating efficient and high-quality UIs and APIs for multiple public sites but also has a strong proficiency in cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) technologies.

In addition, experience with handling data, including data modeling, storage solutions, and data-driven decision-making, is essential. You will be a key player in delivering robust and scalable solutions, working within a fast-paced organization that employs Agile/Scrum methodologies to meet the evolving needs of our customer service and operations teams. Your ability to integrate modern development and data practices on cloud platforms will be crucial in optimizing ourtechnology and delivering exceptional results.

Develop and maintain cutting-edge JavaScript SPAs using React.

Craft modern and responsive web UIs using the latest HTML5 and CSS.

Build robust Node+NestJS backends that seamlessly integrate with Google Cloud Native Services and external APIs.

Create and execute unit tests and automations to ensure code quality and functionality.

Collaborate in a well-tuned Agile/Scrum environment to deliver solutions that meet evolvingbusiness requirements.

Contribute to software architecture and UI design discussions.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and web/mobile technologies.

Work on a collaborative team with room for learning, growth, and advancement.

Qualifications

5+ years experience working with JavaScript/TypeScript, with an excellent understanding ofpure JavaScript.

3+ years experience working with React.

3+ years experience working with NodeJS.

2+ years experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure specifically nativeservices.

2+ years experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

3+ years experience working with Data platform and SQL.
