Event Technician

About the Role We’re seeking reliable, hard-working individuals to join our Event Setup Crew. This casual position involves assisting with event setups, tear-downs, and general venue preparation. You’ll work as part of a team helping to transform the arena for concerts, sporting events, and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and tear down event equipment, including tables, chairs, and staging

Lay down and remove ice decks, basketball flooring, and dance floors

Assist with concert and event stage setups using team lifts

Support clients during move-in and move-out for trade shows and events

Operate carts and manual pallet trucks

Use basic hand tools such as wrenches, ratchets, and pliers

Follow all safety procedures and maintain awareness of surroundings at all times

Requirements

Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Must have CSA-approved steel-toed boots

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions

Basic tool knowledge is an asset
