Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

Adecco is currently seeking full-time Metal Fabricators - Red Seal /Journeypersons to join our esteemed client in Halifax, NS. This long-term, full-time project offers opportunities for LOA and travel allowances. To be eligible for these positions, candidates must hold a Red Seal or Journeyman Ticket and possess prior experience in fabrication, assembly, and fitting using various tools and equipment. Shifts & Pay Rate:

Day Shift: $43.00 per hour (7am - 3:30pm)

Night Shift: $3.00 per hour shift premium (12am - 7:30pm)

Back Shift: $3.00 per hour shift premium (5pm - 1am)

Location: Halifax, NS

Job type: Full-time |Long-Term Contract

Additional Overtime offered
LOA (Living out allowance): $135 / day worked
Travel: $220 weekly, if 80km away from location

One time Travel Pay: $600

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to blueprints and procedures

Perform measurements, cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding of parts

Read and interpret drawings and layouts

Install interior structures, hatches, doors, bulkheads, etc.

Utilize various tools and equipment for pipe assembly and welding

Work with different pipe materials such as carbon steel, copper-nickel, and stainless steel

Requirements and

Qualifications:

Eligible to work in Canada and resided in Canada for 5 years

Red Seal or Journeyman Ticket

Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications

WHMIS certification

Ability to pass a pre-employment Government Security Clearance/Background and Credit check

Full PPE and Fit Tested Respirator Mask required

Capable of handling, lifting, carrying, and setting up parts and equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more

Daily commute to work required
