IMPORTANT:
There are several Non-Insured Health Benefit Analysts (CR-05) inventories being run across Canada concurrently. If you are interested in multiple locations, you MUST apply to the specific inventory poster related to those locations. These inventories are utilizing the same merit criteria. If you have applied on multiple inventories you will only be assessed once. Your results will be applied to the inventories you submitted applications for.

These positions support hybrid work, offering the employee an opportunity to perform a combination of onsite and offsite work under an annually reviewed work arrangement, with the ongoing objective to balance operational requirements with employee individual circumstances and work preference. Indigenous Services Canada operates under the Treasury Board Secretariat’s “Direction on prescribed presence in the workplace” (). As of September 9, 2024, employees are required to work from the office at least three (3) days a week and may have the option to telework the rest of the week, subject to operational requirements.

Duties

You will work in a fast paced call centre environment where you will receive a high volume of calls from our clients and stakeholders. Due to the high volume of requests, you will learn how to prioritize your day as you will have continuous interruptions, responding to inquires over the phone and processing fax requests. This could be an opportunity for you to develop new skills and further develop skills you already have;

such skills include client service orientation, delivery of the NIHB program to our clients, attention to detail, improved computer skills, communication skills, conflict management, workload management and prioritization.
