This Software Engineer supports high-complexity naval systems, with emphasis on the Combat Management System and complete software lifecycle delivery. The multidisciplinary Agile team handles specification, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and field troubleshooting. The position calls for practical experience with Kubernetes ecosystems and application development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop software primarily using Java
Containerize applications with Kubernetes, Podman, or Docker
Deploy Kubernetes applications through Helm
Build RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
Support integration, deployment, and field troubleshooting
Requirements:
Two to five years of general development experience
Degree in a related engineering or computer discipline
Familiarity with PostgreSQL or MariaDB
Experience working with Linux, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Eligibility to obtain NATO Secret clearance
Bring containerization, Java, Spring Boot, and Linux experience to software delivery for complex naval platform systems.
