Are you a Building Surveyor with excellent design skills that enjoys managing projects from concept to completion? The Company:

This is a forward‑thinking property consultancy seeking a Building Surveyor to join their dedicated team. Based near Halifax, this company specialises in commercial, retail, education, residential and industrial properties to £2.5M, and they pride themselves on delivering exceptional service to private clients.

Your Role:

As a key member of this knowledgeable building surveying and architectural design team, you will take the lead in designing and managing projects, from new builds to refurbishments and extensions. Working closely with a talented consultant project team, you’ll be at the forefront of site acquisition to project completion. Your role will also involve measured surveys, dilapidations, and pre‑acquisition surveys, positioning you as a trusted advisor to our clients.

What

they’re Looking For:
  • Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or working towards APC with a proven track record in architectural design and project management.
  • Experience dealing with private sector clients and managing projects valued up to at least £1m.
  • Strong knowledge of common building construction types and site management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting workloads and work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Confident in client‑facing interactions, providing concise commercial advice.
