Mechanical Design Engineer
Halifax / Bradford Area
PERMANENT
£30k - £35k
Our client, an engineering & manufacturing company based between Bradford and Halifax, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Mechanical Design Engineer.
The OpportunityAs part of our continued growth and expansion, as well as being awarded various significant contracts, an excellent opportunity has arisen for additional Mechanical Design Engineers to join our Design team.
This role involves design and development of bespoke HVAC products, whilst maintaining the existing standard portfolio.
Key Requirements and Responsibilities :- Manage the design of products ordered by a customer
- Liaison directly with customers as & when necessary
- Detail component and assembly design using 3D design software Preferred Design Software - Inventor
- Produce design or technical documentation required to manufacture product
- Produce and provide any technical documentation required by the customer
- Design and document any special processes required by the customer or / and the design including Quality plans, ATEX Docs, Detail Schedules
