Finance Assistant

We are looking for a Finance Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting and innovative company. As a Finance Assistant we are looking for somebody that is very flexible, has excellent customer service skills and understands the importance of credit control within an organisation. • Open new Sales and Purchase Accounts on Sage
• Cross check Credit Safe on a daily basis with our Sales Accounts
• Investigate credit requests and follow through to authorisation
• Assist with purchase ledger entry and queries
• Understand and be able to cover the credit control of the Sales Ledger over holiday periods
• Be able to take Credit Card payments online.
• Any other duties

The ideal candidate will:

• Be passionate about customer service
• Have a prior knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel
• Be able to converse effectively with customers and colleagues
• Have previous credit control experience
• Have an ability to work well within a team
