Key Responsibilities of a One to One SEN Support Assistant:
Provide tailored one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs.
Assist with classroom learning, differentiated lessons, and sensory activities.
Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence.
Support IEPs and individual targets.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, families, and external agencies.
We're Looking For in a One to One SEN Support Assistant:
Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs.
Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
Good communicator and team player.
Understanding of safeguarding and inclusion principles.
