Key Responsibilities of a One to One SEN Support Assistant:- Provide tailored one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs.
- Assist with classroom learning, differentiated lessons, and sensory activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence.
- Support IEPs and individual targets.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, families, and external agencies.
- Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs.
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Good communicator and team player.
- Understanding of safeguarding and inclusion principles.
