Up to £43,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly, patient-focused GP practice (list size ~10,500). The ideal candidate will be confident delivering a range of practice nursing services and proactive in patient care.

• Chronic disease management (diabetes, asthma, COPD)
• Cervical cytology
• Childhood & adult immunisations
• Wound care and dressings
• Contraceptive advice
• NHS Health Checks and screening
• Health promotion and lifestyle advice
• Infection prevention & control
• Support in achieving QOF, IIF, and other quality targets
• Support training for nurses and healthcare assistants, depending on experience

Our team of ~30 staff includes GPs, advanced clinical practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff. We use Systm One and offer a supportive, inclusive environment with CPD and mentorship opportunities.

• NMC registration
• Experience as a Practice Nurse in general practice
• Up-to-date skills in chronic disease management
• Good communication and team‑working skills
• Competent in using Systm One
• Independent prescribing qualification (desirable)
• Additional qualifications in chronic disease management (desirable)
• Minor illness or triage experience (desirable)
