Job Description Summary
  • Acts as HR Manager for the plant, responsible for the full HR lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, talent development and succession through to payroll and departures.
  • Interacts with all employees and leaders at the site, together with other contact persons in the Europe region.
Job Description
  • Provides advice and guidance to all levels of management on company HR strategy, policies and procedures.
  • Supports core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, talent management, learning and development/training, compensation, grading, absenteeism, performance improvement plans, labor relations and leadership development.
  • Develops the HR strategy, monitors KPIs, participates in organizational development projects and actively shapes changes to processes and practices.
  • Maintains good communication and a positive relationship with employees, promotes a good social climate and helps drive employee satisfaction to ensure a positive working environment.
  • Collaborates closely with other parts of the regional European organization and with the US headquarters.
  • All other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
  • Successfully completed Bachelor or Master Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business Studies, Economics, Law, Psychology or a similar subject area.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a manufacturing, engineering or automotive environment.
  • Proven experience in a number of areas of the HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance and appraisals, learning and development, compensation and payroll, disciplinary procedures, severance and/or grievance management.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law in theory and in practical, operative application.
  • Leadership, training and coaching experience preferred.
  • High level of personal integrity, autonomy and sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation skills and intercultural competence.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
