CRA Consulting are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected, long-established law firm based in Halifax as they look to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their successful Wills & Probate team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and personable practice with a strong local reputation and a genuinely collaborative culture.

The successful candidate will handle a varied and high-quality caseload of private client matters. You will be responsible for providing expert advice across the full spectrum of Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs and Trusts. The firm offers a friendly working environment where client care and professional development are genuinely valued.

• Managing a mixed caseload of Wills, Probate, Estate Planning, LPAs and Trusts
• Taking comprehensive client instructions and delivering clear, tailored legal advice
• Drafting Wills, Trusts and associated documents
• Handling estate administration matters from instruction to completion
• Building strong relationships with clients, referrers and colleagues
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive ideally with a minimum of 3 years PQE or greater
• Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate and Estate Planning
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Ability to manage files autonomously while being a team player
• STEP qualification or working towards it is advantageous but not essential

• Holiday entitlement above statutory minimum: 24 days + 8 bank holidays, rising to 26 days after 3 years and 28 days after 7 years
• Enhanced sick pay
