Arcus is looking to recruit two part‑time In Store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Halifax store on a fixed term basis until January 2026, both with an hourly rate of £12.21.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company. We offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. The current shift patterns for these roles are:

• 21 hours per week:
• Sunday: 07:00 to 10:00
• Monday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Tuesday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Friday: 05:00 to 11:30
• Saturday:
  Day off
• 18 hours per week:
• Sunday: 07:00 to 10:00
• Monday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Tuesday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Thursday:
  Day off
• Friday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Saturday: 05:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• In‑store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies.
• Cleaning outside areas such as trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on‑the‑job training will be supplied.

An eye for detail and cleanliness.

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
