By embedding strategies that remove barriers and foster equity, this role not only champions ethnic minority inclusion but also strengthens the wider organisational culture-creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and able to thrive. You ll also act as the wider inclusion partner for Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) and Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), ensuring inclusion is integrated into business priorities.

This role is commercially critical to ensuring Lloyds Banking Group reflects the customers and communities we serve and attracts the widest pool of talent. By embedding inclusive practices and driving impact, you ll help create a high-performing, diverse workforce that fuels innovation, strengthens customer trust, and delivers sustainable growth for all.

You ll be a subject matter expert with demonstrable experience in designing and delivering inclusion strategies that have driven measurable impact for under-represented ethnic minority groups, while ensuring these approaches contribute to a culture that benefits everyone.

You ll combine deep knowledge of the Equality Act with the ability to identify systemic barriers and opportunities, creating strategies that are legally sound, commercially effective, and inclusive for the whole organisation.

Crucially, you ll be skilled at navigating sensitive conversations and influencing senior stakeholders, balancing targeted interventions with an inclusive approach that brings everyone on the journey-creating a workplace that works better for all, not just a few.

What you ll be doing
  • Design and deliver inclusion strategies with proven impact for ethnic minority colleagues, ensuring alignment with Group ambitions and legal compliance, while embedding practices that strengthen inclusion for all.

  • Apply expert knowledge of the Equality Act to advise on policy, process, and risk mitigation in ways that support a fair and inclusive culture.

  • Identify barriers and opportunities across organisational processes and colleague experiences, shaping interventions that drive equity and benefit the wider workforce.

  • Lead sensitive conversations with confidence, influencing leaders to adopt inclusive behaviours while maintaining unity and engagement across all colleague groups.

  • Champion a "whole organisation" approach, ensuring targeted strategies for under-represented groups are integrated into broader cultural and business objectives.

  • Partner with customer and client-focused divisions to collaborate and support client inclusion-focused agendas, reinforcing our commitment to inclusion beyond the organisation.

Why Lloyds Banking Group
