Welder Fabricator

TIG Welders / Fabricators Required

ARC Recruitment are currently recruiting TIG Welders / Fabricators to join a growing and well-established engineering team on a permanent basis.

This is a workshop-based position with the potential for working away when required.

Job duties include:

* TIG welding on a variety of materials

* Fabrication of components and assemblies

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Cutting, shaping, and preparing materials prior to welding

* Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery

* Carrying out quality checks to ensure work meets specifications

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

* Working to deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship

* Assisting with installation work when working away, if required

Pay rates (depending on experience):

* £14 per hour + holiday pay – under 2 years’ experience

* £16 per hour + holiday pay – 2 to 5 years’ experience

* £18 per hour + holiday pay – 5+ years’ experience

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm

Requirements:

* Previous TIG welding and fabrication experience

* Ability to work accurately from engineering drawings

* Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

* Willingness to work away when required
